[Amy's words on Barun]

Amy Chavez is the author of Japan Lite, the most popular column on the largest selling English daily in Japan. She is known the world over as one of the best humorist on Japan, and her culture. I had the good fortune of designing Amy's homepage. This not only taught me things I never knew about web-design business, like dealing with a very high quality conscious customer, constantly being in touch with the client, and listening to each and every need with all the attention that I could afford, but also brought me in good terms with a genuine friend and a great writer. Visit Amy's humor site, and find out more on Japan in the funniest way possible. But for now, listen to what Amy says about me and my profession.

Amy Chavez

Dear Barun,

I want to thank you for the exquisite work you did on my website.

From the day you launched the new Japan Lite website, my hits, page views and newsletter subscribers increased dramatically. I'm still amazed at what a difference it has made.

In addition to redesigning my site, you gave me insight on what makes a website work. With this information in mind, together we were able to choose the best content, logo and format for my site to keep customers coming back for more.

From start to finish, you made sure I was with you every step of the way. I was most impressed by your constant availability by cell phone, email, fax and online chat. There was never a moment when I felt my website wasn't your top priority.

What distinguishes you from other web designers is that you are so in tune to your customer's needs. With my goals in mind, you developed a website that would take me from where I was to where I wanted to be in the future. You gave me the tools that helped me set my sights higher and higher. Because of you, I am no longer just another writer with a website-I'm a writer with a website that makes a difference.

To tell you the truth, when I first looked into having my website redesigned, I was hesitant. Did I really need it? But as soon as we started working together, I knew I was making one of the best decisions of my career. My only regret is that I didn't contact you sooner!

Thank you for the difference you have made in my life personally as well as professionally.

Sincerely,

Amy Chavez
